Membership & RecruitingFootmen and higher rank may participate in clans. A clan is only opened by a Squire or higher rank with 2 teammates (totalling maximum 3 members per clan). This player becomes the clan leader, and must submit a clanname, and choice of philosophy/clan, along with list of members. Register your clan Here, once you have read all the rules below. The 2 teammates must be Baron ranked or lower at time of registraton. Clan Philosophies There are 9 philosophies: Angelic, Barbarian, Chaotic, Demonic, Military, Naturist, Necroma, Rogue, and Scholar. Clan Wars - Fighting for Axeoth
Clan Artifacts Each land has a unique artifact, that becomes available to the Clan that holds it. Artifacts & attributes are 'unknown' for a specific land until revealed by a Clan War for that land. The Artifact can be used by a clan in future clan wars, once per clan war. Clan PowerGlyphs (Upgrades) PowerGlyphs are created with the combined essence of several artifacts. When a Clan holds several lands adjacent to each other in the same continent or island, chances for a PowerGlyph increases. Therefore, choice of land for clan wars can be considered a tactical decision to acquire a PowerGlyph. The PowerGlyph has 4 levels:
The PowerGlyph is weakened or lost if a key land is lost to the enemy. Philosophy Powers Every 3 clan wars played by a clan (win or lose), they gain a 'power', specifically based on their philosophy. This power can be used at anytime, or 'hoarded' for later use. The power is applied to a clan war - given to a specific clanmember participating. A Clan Forefit If a clan fails to finish a clan war, and forefits the clan war, they may lose a land they control (becomes unowned land again). The clan also can lose as much as 10 prestige. (Can go into negative prestige). All 6 players must participate in a clan war to have a victory/loss. If a clan member intentionally forefits or avoids playing a designated clan war, it could mean forefit for their whole clan, without forefit penalty to opposing clan. Heroes 3 Clans vs. Heroes 4 Clans? Heroes 3 and heroes 4 clan players initially have no contact, fighting their same-game type players for domination of the lands. In the long run, the most active group will own more lands... so its the pride of H3 and H4 players on the line. *Dynamic Heroes RPG Combination Formulae: A formula & program designed by Vesuvius allows players from both H3 and H4 (or even H1 & H2) to combat each other with their own game-specific units. Once all lands are taken, the most powerful H3 and H4 clans will interact with each other and have large battlefield creature combats with their own philosophy and game-specific units & powers, until there is one last clan dominating, whether it be an H3 or H4 clan. Prestige points and artifacts will determine the size & strength of the armies used against each other. Members Exchange & Cheating You can always exchange/replace a clan member, but if the member is already in a clan war, you must wait until the war is over. If your member leaves in middle of a clan war, that is your problem. Also choose your clanmembers wisely, if a member is caught cheating, you may lose tremendous amounts of clan prestige and/or land. What is the Point of Clan Prestige?
Fame, fortune & protection Besides putting you on the right rank in the Clan Rankings Page, you gain 2 points in the main ToH ranking for every 1 point of clan prestige you gain. All clan members recieve a clan membership icon for the rankings page. Clans may switch to another philosophy at any time, but their prestige points get halved. Protection can be applied using prestige points: If a clan power is being used against your clan, you can apply 20 prestige points to neutralize it. It is very expensive in prestige, but possibly useful in critical cases. The Ultimate Clan In the end, there will be one clan that dominates all, which ends the tournament. The clan members involved will be awarded the Ultimate Clan Glyph, which stays on their record permanently, carrying through to Heroes 5. |
