1) The offended party must have attempted
contact by email with their
opponent to resolve the issue (2 attempts minimum over a period
of 3 days). You must include copies of your attempts at contact
with your submission if your opponent is not responding to your
emails. If someone says they will not report a game right after
it is done you must still attempt to contact them at least twice
(often times, people say things they don't mean when angry, but
later will report as they should).
2) Viewing a saved game file before the game
is finished is prohibited.
You are not allowed to view the game to "see if someone is
cheating." If you have suspicions someone is cheating in your
game: finish the game before viewing any saves, or halt play and
send in the saved game files for the HC to review so you or a
friend do not view them.
3) Do NOT send saved game files made during an opponents turn in
as evidence of possible cheating. Saves (created during YOUR
turn) often need to be made to prove someone actually cheated.
Saves made when
it is not your turn are often very
inaccurate
because data has
not fully been sent and will not be considered valid
no matter what they "seem" to show.
4) Send in your conclusive evidence with
an explanation of what you consider the wrong doing to be and the
Honor Council will review your argument and render a decision on
the issue. Your issue should be sent directly to the HC
Chairman (listed
below)
